My name is Ryan Salvatore. I have been at Riverdale Country School since 9th grade and am entering my senior year. Throughout my time at Riverdale, I have been an avid participant in athletics. I am captain of both the varsity hockey team and varsity lacrosse team. Club sports have been vital to my development as an athlete, playing for North Park in hockey and Docs for lacrosse. During freshman year, I joined the Riverdale Association for Feminist Action curious to learn more about gender equality coming from an androcentric (male dominated) culture—all boys school and two brothers. I am now the leader of AFFA.
